Words that mean "said" that aren't "said"!

We had fun doing a book search this week during our Language class. The following is a useful reference list of what we have found!
OUR LIST OF WORDS THAT TAKE THE PLACE OF SAID:
Agreed Answered Asked Barked Begged Breathed Called Chatted Chattered Cheered Complained Complimented Coughed Cried Croaked Demanded Echoed Exclaimed Explained Frowned Gasped Giggled Growled Grunted Laughed Moaned Mumbled Muttered Offered Ordered Panted Pleaded Repeated Replied Sang Screamed Shouted Shrieked Sighed Snapped Sneered Sniffled Snorted Squeaked Stammered Stuttered Tattled Told Tweeted Wailed Warned Whined Whispered Wished Wondered Yelled

Can you find any more as you read? If so, please send us comment so we can add yours to our list!

We love that so many readers have added to our list of words! It would be great if you could tell us where you were from.

I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU!

I have discovered that blogging can be a great way to keep others up-to-date on what is going on in my classroom, but is also a great way to get insights from others. I have a few blogs that I follow personally, and always find myself led to leave comments that may provide insight, ideas, or encouragement to the posters. I encourage you, the reader, to do the same for me. As you read, post a comment and let me know what you think. If you don't want me to post it to my blog, just ask and I will respect your wishes. However, the more I hear from you, the more I am able to understand the thoughts of the readers. Looking forward to hearing from you!
