February is almost gone, and it seems like it was just last week that Phil saw his shadow! All too soon we will be reminiscing of days gone by in March, as well.
With each passing day, we are one day closer to moving on in the world; one day closer to PSSA tests, one day closer to Spring, one day closer to Easter, one day closer to field trips, one day closer to summer, one day closer to fifth grade, one day closer to driving, one day closer to adulthood...AAHHHHH! We do not want to get caught up in the distant future, for we know not what tomorrow may bring, but to stay focused on what is here and now, what is present and real.
In my life what is here and now and real is being a teacher and a mother. I know the impact that I have on kids can last a lifetime. I know that because I had teachers that made a lifelong impact on me ... some for good reasons others for bad. I urge you to watch the link below and think about the impact that you have on the children in your life.

I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU!
I have discovered that blogging can be a great way to keep others up-to-date on what is going on in my classroom, but is also a great way to get insights from others. I have a few blogs that I follow personally, and always find myself led to leave comments that may provide insight, ideas, or encouragement to the posters. I encourage you, the reader, to do the same for me. As you read, post a comment and let me know what you think. If you don't want me to post it to my blog, just ask and I will respect your wishes. However, the more I hear from you, the more I am able to understand the thoughts of the readers. Looking forward to hearing from you!
